The Pre-Crash Dual Stage Side Airbag (SAB) works within both scenarios, pre-crash and in crash ignition. It is a dual inflator-one module concept which, in pre-crash ignition, moves the occupant's torso towards the center of the vehicle. This results in an up to 25% restraint improvement increase vs. conventional SABs
