Penske Transportation Management System (for North America only US/CA/MX)
Overview
Penske is a third-party US-based Transportation Management Services (TMS) provider which ZF LIFETEC North America contracts to comprehensively manage all ground transportation (excluding small parcel).
The TMS is responsible for the routing, optimization, tendering, tracking/tracing, and data collection of all land transports within the region.
It is important to understand that Penske is not the freight carrier and does not physically handle the freight.
Penske routes the shipments to the ZF LIFETEC directed freight carriers based on shipment parameters and established freight contracts.
While the physical operation of the transportation network is entrusted to Penske, ZF LIFETEC negotiates the freight rates, determines the business awards, and evaluates performance in the network.

Access to the Penske portal and the required training to set-up shipments to ZF LIFETEC will be provided to suppliers at ZF North America's direction.
